Testing Omaru Creek for -coluer

I am going to find out: what coulur the water is?

I am going to test this by: campairing diffrent water samples.

Resources and equipment: the 4 samples of the sea water,the tap water,omaru creek bridge water,culvet water

I predict that: the seawater will have littel bits of salt init.

I think this because: the water is salty.

Results of my tests

My conclusion (what I found out): that the bridge water is dirteyer than the culvet

Why I think this is: because pepole drop more rubbish near the bridge

Testing Omaru Creek for - smell

I am going to find out: What dose the creek smell compared to other water.

I am going to test this by: getting same samples an smelling them.

Resources and equipment: our nose and 4 samples of the brigde water, culvet water,sea water,tap water.A bucket and a string.

I predict that: the culvert will smell like rubber on the road

I think this because: it is near the road and the road works

Results of my tests

My conclusion (what I found out): That the creek didn’t smell as bad as I thought it would Ithought it would smell like poo

Why I think this is: I think because there were no road works today

Testing Omaru Creek for -turbidity

I am going to find out: how clear the water is.

I am going to test this by: getting 4 samples from the creek

Resources and equipment: 4 samples from the creek and a peice of paper with small writing, nomal writing and big writing.also a bucket and a string.

I predict that: the bridge will be the most cloudy

I think this because: the catfish are in the big pond bit

My conclusion (what I found out):brigde is the dirtrties out of all of them.

Why I think this is: because the catfish are going under the mud and making it all mucky
