Let the games begain

Netball is a game where you have eight or nine players and the aim is to get the ball from the center down through the goal and to get more points than the other team. Do you know how netball was invented? It all started in 1891 by a man named James Naismith he invented mens basketball in 1890 and was asked if he could invent a womans form.

This here is a presintation of my Advice Blog. Its were kids with disabelities want to play sports but dont know how so I give them my best advice.

The wicked old witch (chapter 1)

Their once lived a Wicked old witch. She would wear a long black hat, long black and red dress, she would always carry a broom stick with her and occasionally smelt like a wet dog. She works at Thompson Op Primary she was one of the cleaners. No one at the school new shes a witch not even Hillary Bell her great great great grandfather Andrew bell invented the phone or Simon Edison who's great great great great grandfather invited light. Their was one girl that knew that their was something fishes with the school cleaner the girl was named Crystal. The witch was named was Agatha.


One night Crystal had a bad dream were she was being chased by bees and the world was going to end. So she went for a walk just get some fresh air. While she was walking down her street she called smell chocolate chip cookies and a triple chocolate cake (chocolate was Crystals favourite food)  She thought to her self is this a dream because who would be baking at two o'clock in the morning. It was coming from a old hunted house, the house creaked and the wood was peeling. She mad  a brave diceson to go in side and have a look.....

Year five & six camp

Year Five & six camp is were we camp out on the field we also sleep in tents and get into groups with leaders and I am one of those leaders. I am a team leader with Collin and our team is called The Care Takers and our team teacher is Mrs lavakula. A Team leader is a person who is in control of a group and some one who will be a Great role model. Camp leaders also have to make up dance moves for our camp item.Were doing our dance to Trouble maker we had to pick a song out of a box and read it out loud.

At camp we play lots of games outdoor and inside ones. A lot of our teachers and Parents are helping out with all of this stuff they help out with the food right to making sure we go to sleep all right .On Friday were going swimming at the Manuera pools Its going to be so much fun. At the Manuera pools theres a big slide were you drop then fly up in the air and splash in the water. You can also bomb in the pools.

Are you woundering were we sleep? Well were all sleeping in tents Thats right tents.We have to provide ourselves with a sleeping bag and a pillow.We don,t need to bring a tent they provide us with tents and we don't have one all to ourselves we have to share with other pepole from your own group.boys stay in there tents and girls stay in our tents so we get put into a tent with a friend.

 Im so looking forward to camp I hope I have fun like last year.

Plastic bags VS Paper

This is a presentation to see if plastic bags are better then paper bags.  My group and I read a book called plastic fantastic? It was all about plastic bags and how their bad and good. Did you know that in Ireland they yours potato sack for bags and in some other countries they ban plastic bags or plastic utensils.

Estimation & Data Recording sheet

Hi this is my Estimation & Data Recording sheet we had to see how many Stride Jumps we could do in 15 seconds 30 seconds 1 minute and 2 minutes. first we saw how many we could do in 15 seconds then doubled that for 30 seconds then doubled that again for 1 minuet and doubled it again for 2 minutes. 

Holiday Highlight

Sitting on the ground waiting for the movie to start I spotted my friends Kevine and Alazae So I run up to them and said hi. They were going to get a balloon and their face paint and we went in the line to get a balloon. Unfortunately we were going to get swords but the balloon maker broke his equipment.

So we hopped in the face painting line. At the front of the line I went first I got a star with my initials in it. So did they. Finally the balloon maker came back and we got our sword. Mine was purple, Kevines was Red and Alazae got blue.

I went back to my mum and sister. A strange sound came out of nowhere and said free chocolate came and get free chocolate. So me and my sister run to the back where the chocolate was. There was a big line in fact it wasn’t a line it was a big blob.

Finally we got a block of chocolate each when we got back to our spot There was a boy who keeps going back and forward at the End he had about ten blocks of chocolate. Our mum felt bad for some other kids because they didn’t have any so we gave one to them. Plus we already bought Chocolate with us.

The movie was going to start soon so everyone sat down and the sound of babies and kids playing on the park got softer and softer. Then the movie started. At the end of the Movie I was freezing cold so we went home and went to bed.
